Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an (JR) Distribution Design Engineer for electric utility design engineering in the Frisco, TX area. We're seeking someone who is dedicated to ensuring that every project, no matter how simple or complex, is of exceptional quality. You'll be working directly with clients to make sure that the end clients reputation for high-quality work is always maintained. Skills and Requirements
AA in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial etc.).
1 year of design experience.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to utilize personal vehicle (job-related travel is reimbursed).
Ability to work in outdoor environments on occasion.
Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills. Experience with distribution design tools (BOUD, Pole Foreman, SOCKET, Spida-Calc, etc.).
Experience using CAD tools, MicroStation and/or GIS.
Experience with NESC.
Experience with design standards. null
