FasTemps is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators for 2nd shift positions at an industry-leading brakes manufacturing company located in Homer, MI. Responsibilities:
- Operate various machines and equipment, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, and robots.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required safety gear, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots.
- Read and interpret blueprints (preferred).
- Work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday) 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday night to Thursday)
- Training: 2 weeks on 1st Shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)
- Starting Pay: Machine Operator - $18.85/hour + shift premium; Paint Operator - $18.35/hour + shift premium
- Shift Premium: $1.50 for 2nd & $1.00 for 3rd
- Pay Increase Upon Hire

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in machine operations, CNC, etc.
- Stable employment history, without job-hopping
- Not unemployed for more than six months
- Pass a drug screen and background check with clear and clean results
- Up-to-date resume with accurate information, including dates of employment and address
- Confirmed reason for leaving most recent employer (e.g., company restructuring, pursuing new opportunities)
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work overtime upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and twist
