We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity, opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.
Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Essential Skills
Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous pharmacy experience
Ability to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line
Ability to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor
Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift
Basic math, reading, and writing skills

Work Environment
This is an onsite position with the following schedule: Monday 1pm-11:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11pm, and Saturday 12pm-8:30pm. The work environment is climate-controlled. Employees will enjoy 170 hours of PTO once converted, and benefits start on the first day of conversion.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $19.70/hr.
