Ultimate LLC MIG Welder in Kansas City, Kansas
MIG WELDER AND FABRICATOR
Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring MIG Welders and Fabricators for production projects in the Kansas City area. The pay range is $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience. All welders and fabricators are scheduled 40 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM). We are looking for skilled, self-motivated craftsmen to join our team of dedicated, safe, and productive professionals. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.
Ultimate Job Duties
Perform metal (primarily steel) fabrication and structural welding, including preparation and finishing operations
Read, interpret, and fit materials to detailed design prints and specifications
Use modern welding techniques and equipment proficiently
Apply knowledge of wire and filler materials for steel fabrication
Conduct finish grinding using manual and power tools
Operate various machines and utilize welding practices, mathematics, and building materials
Collaborate with shop supervisor, drafters, customers, and peers to produce finished products
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area
Ultimate Trade Requirements
18+ years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Forklift experience required
Assembly and welding experience a plus
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines
Physically able to safely and consistently lift and pull material up to 50 lbs without assistance
Must wear applicable PPE to perform job tasks
