Job Description

The Data Solutions Lead in the IMD (Information Management and Delivery) DA (Data Activation) group is responsible for leading Business Intelligence and Database Marketing projects from inception to implementation that meet RPS client needs for business information, DBM (Database Marketing) and BI (Business Intelligence) solutions.

The Data Solutions Lead position requires the ability to elicit and document business need to determine requirements, ‘mine’ and analyze data, lead a project team effectively, proactively communicate with internal clients, and ensure that database marketing and BI delivery satisfies business need. This position requires superior communication, analytical, critical thinking, logical thinking, technical, problem solving and project coordination skills.

The Data Solutions Leads are responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog to deliver on business vision and priorities. The Data Solutions Leads provide constant feedback to the business line(s) and Agile teams in support of delivery and evolution of the product. The Data Solutions Leads must develop a well-rounded understanding of the customer’s needs that are aligned with business objectives as well as an ability to develop close relationships with key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • SQL writing and data mining

  • Prior experience leading projects

  • Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Geo-spatial tools and others to perform analysis and interpret data

  • Knowledge of Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe CDP

  • Working knowledge of Tableau and Jira

  • Understanding of agile methodology

  • Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling

  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Location Expectations

This role is posted as remote; however, candidates who are located near any one of our locations would be required to work on site at least three days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,285.00 - $112,100.00 - $123,310.00
