Your role and responsibilities
IBM is seeking a dynamic and experienced Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA Sales and Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 8 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to HANA environments. This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of SAP's Sales and Distribution (SD) module and its integration with other key SAP modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP).
Required technical and professional expertise

Template Implementation: Demonstrate proficiency in template roll-out, including conducting fit-to-standard workshops, managing cutovers, and engaging with clients throughout the process.

End-to-End Sales Process Knowledge: Possess comprehensive understanding of the entire sales process, from order processing to invoicing, including intercompany transactions and master data management (business partners, material masters, etc.).

Hands-on SAP Skills: Exhibit strong SAP HANA skills including Sales Order Processing, Pricing and Promotions (including rebates), Availability-at-Time-of-Purchase (aATP), Delivery, Invoicing, and intercompany processes.

Integration Experience: Work closely with development teams to design and test integrations with external applications like Salesforce or other front-end sales tools, as well as external pricing engines.

Broad Functional Understanding: Display a holistic understanding of SAP integration points with sales, inventory management, and finance functions, including TM (Transportation Management), DSD (Direct Store Delivery), LMD (Last Mile Distribution), FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management), Accounts Receivable, and more.

Industry Expertise: Bring relevant industry experience, preferably in Consumer Goods, to ensure solutions align with sector-specific business practices.

Stakeholder Engagement: Prove ability to effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders ranging from end-users to client country management, demonstrating strong consulting skills.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Additional fluency in local CEE languages and other languages would be an asset.

Travel: Some travel within CEE countries and potentially to locations such as Amsterdam may be required for workshops, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-lives.
Preferred technical and professional experience

Cloud Technologies: While not mandatory, experience in cloud platforms such as SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would be beneficial. Knowledge of cloud-based deployment models and migration strategies can significantly enhance project delivery and client value.

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is highly desirable. This experience would enable the Package Consultant to contribute effectively to iterative, adaptive project execution, enhancing responsiveness to changing business needs and fostering continuous improvement.

DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Practical experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines can streamline software delivery, enhance collaboration between development and operations teams, and ensure rapid, reliable, and high-quality releases.

Data Analytics and Visualization: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI) and data visualization techniques can add significant value in helping clients derive insights from their data, driving informed decision-making and business optimization.
