About the Role:
As a CBRE Traning Program Intern, you will work on projects, learn about the business, make industry connections, and develop both hard and soft skills related to the curriculum of your choice.
This job is part of the Training Program job function. They are responsible for the development and execution of educational programs for internships, apprenticeships, trainees, and graduates.
What You’ll Do:
Assisting for the functions of Accounts Payable: Assist in AP invoices coding in myBuy, pull AP report for reviewing, check AP balances, follow up AP invoices status.
Assisting for billing: Issue billings using Peoplesoft, generate and execute single action invoices as well as distribute invoices to counter parties.
Assist in month-end closing processes: Prepare the journal entries, support preparation of ad-hoc journal adjustments as needed, collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Complete the monthly closing activities in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Assist in bank transactions: Record daily cash balances and assist with fund transfers between accounts to ensure optimal cash management.
Support Intercompany settlement process, ensuring accurate transactions between entities.
Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time.
What You’ll Need:
Recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or anything equivalent
Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
Internship duration at least 6 months or longer.
Potential opportunity to transfer to permanent, subjected to performance and availability of opening.
