Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Observe Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow and support all STS Safety Policies and ISO Procedures
Have the ability to trouble shoot problem on equipment. Disassemble and inspect equipment and submit repairs to Maintenance supervisor
Complete all documentation if required. Communicate mechanical issues found during inspection to the Maintenance Supervisor
Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, Mechanical personnel, Supervisor, and Lead Man
Be on the job site and in your assigned work area at the scheduled time. Keep work area clean and well organized during all phases of the project
Have/Maintain ability to operate overhead cranes, torches, tooling and forklifts. Maintain LEAN objectives within the department
Must follow the STS dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Maintain accurate time sheets on a daily basis. Complete company-required training programs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Knowledge and understanding of multiple types of equipment (Forklift, Air Compressors, Diesel/Gasoline/Propane engines. Willing learn about other equipment.
Must have the required tools to perform their expected tasks
Must be able to work overtime when necessary
Knowledge on performing PM’s on equipment
5 +years of experience in Forklifts and PM’s on equipment
Will be required to do PM’s other types of equipment (Training will be done if not familiar)
