Aerotek Assembler in LAKE ZURICH, Illinois
Assembler - Lake Zurich, IL
1st & 2nd Shift - $16/hr
ENTRY LEVEL POSITION
Job Description
Individuals will be on a line assembling various pieces of lawn equipment. Each line has 5-10 assemblers who use hand and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies. Assemblers will stand in one spot for the entire shift and rotate stations to learn different areas.
Responsibilities
Receive instructions and work specifications from the Group Leader.
Assemble, operate machinery, or package company products.
Use hand tools and compressed air drivers.
Maintain a clean and organized work area daily.
Maintain tools, fixtures, and work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Follow all safety rules and policies.
Perform various other duties and assignments as requested to assist in the overall operation of the department.
Essential Skills
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
Skills in operating small hand tools.
Willingness to work overtime.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment
Clean, well-lit, and temperature controlled. The assembly lines are arranged to show the progression from small motor parts to finished products. All parts are made in-house with CNC and molding machines supplying the lines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE ZURICH, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
