Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an data entry technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately interpreting and entering prescription information into our processing system, as well as ensuring appropriate dosing.
Responsibilities
Efficiently enter prescription orders into the pharmacy processing system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Verify prescription dosage and call providers if necessary for clarification.
Accurately interpret and enter prescription information.
Essential Skills
Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida.
Proficiency in data entry.
Strong understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy calculations.
Ability to dose appropriately.
Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience.
Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred national certification (CPhT).
Experience in retail pharmacy.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
