This position manages a staff of multiple professional supervisors in a regional section who are responsible for overseeing a staff of professional auditors who audit a multitude of taxpayers having the highest levels of complexity from multi-international businesses to the small complex businesses for tax compliance. Management of the section requires the establishment of procedures, policies, rules, and guidelines. Employee assists in the planning and directing of specific programs and departmental activities in conjunction with management staff, reviews and evaluates the audit program personnel to ensure uniformity with general guidelines, statutes, judicial decisions, rules, mission, and accuracy of the tax audit program. This position works directly with the Audit Division Administrator in achieving the overall goals and mission of the Department.
