Job Highlights: * 403(b) Retirement Plan; * Career scholarships; * Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programs; * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Paid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days) About the job: Pay: $59,000- $70,000 Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Occasional weekends and on-call hours The Personal Care Services Manager under the supervision of the Nursing Director, supervises Personal Care Scheduler to ensure adequate staffing is obtained to meet the needs of participants while remaining at or under budget. Supervises all direct staff in the Adult Day Health Center and the Home Care departments in conformance with policies, procedures, and standards and all governing state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and implementation of the dementia programming for all direct care staff. Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience. * Three (3) years' experience in a geriatric health setting * 2 years of demonstrated successful supervisory experience * Certification or equivalent experience demonstrating knowledge of comprehensive dementia care. * Proficiency with various business software, preferably Microsoft Office. * Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Essentials: * Directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of the C.N.A.s, and P.C.A.s. * In consultation with the Nursing Director and other management staff, develops and implements policies, procedures and standards for the Adult Day Health Center and Home Care departments. Communicates changes to staff, monitors outcomes and makes changes as needed. * Interviews and recommends for hire, staff reporting to the Personal Care Services Manager. * Provides for orientation, ongoing training and competency evaluation of staff according to program needs, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Ensures that the job responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities of all direct reports are defined and understood. * Fosters team-building, professional relationships and good communication among staff and other departments. Routinely communicates and implements changes in program goals, philosophy and policy to staff. * Assists in the development of organizational staffing patterns and position descriptions for assigned staff.
