Position Summary Information

General Summary

TheStudent Intern–General Manager’s Officewill provide support to the GMO by working on and completing a variety of projects. The student intern will learn the operations of the executive level of the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Work on special projects

  • Provide administrative support in the GMO and to other departments

  • Provide policy support

  • Research

  • Assist with compiling Commission meeting notebooks and agenda setting meeting packets

  • Prepare content for internal publications

Other Functions

Performs other duties, as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications & MS Teams

  • Significant experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Ability to work independently

  • Research skills

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements

Completion of at least 1 year of college coursework

Additional Requirements

Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
