Saint Luke's Rehab Technician in Lees Summit, Missouri
Job Description
Saint Luke’s is seeking a Patient Mobility Technician (PRN) at Saint Luke's East Hospital (100 NE Saint Lukes Blvd., Lees Summit, MO) Level 3 trauma hospital
Position Details:
PRN Hours: PRN (work as needed) no set scheduled weekly hours
Shift coverage could be any of the following: 7:30a-4:00pm or 3:30pm-7:30pm throughout the week (Sunday through Saturday)
Assists therapist with patients mobility (lifting, transporting, transferring, walking, etc).
Clean installation and maintenance of mobility equipment
Assists therapists with patients' mobility (help with "chair follow" when walking a patient, line management, and be the second set of hands)
Supports Rehab Department
Experience:
Direct Patient Care experience (preferred)
Great opportunity for Occupational Therapist (OT) & Physical Therapist (PT) students and interested in programs
