Setting: Hospital - Nuclear Medicine Department
Pay: $33.12-$51.34/hr (begins at $68,889.60+/yr)
Shift: Day, 5x8s or 4x10s, alternating Saturdays
Qualifications:
ARRT-N or CNMT Nuclear Medicine Technology
Associate's Degree
Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent
DE license to practice Radiologic Technology
BLS
Key Duties:
Assist in diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, following professional and departmental standards.
Review consultation requests, confirm patient identification, and explain examination procedures to patients and their families.
Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols.
Conduct daily quality assurance tests on equipment, perform safety inspections, and provide radiation protection to patients and staff.
Manage supply inventory, monitor shortages, and coordinate with other departments for scheduling additional exams as needed.
