Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service EDI IT intern to join our team. The Customer Service EDI IT intern will assist with software tools, data management, and improving the overall customer experience through technology. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in EDI processes, IT support, and customer service operations, while contributing to the efficiency of our supply chain and business communications. Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. Collaborate with the Customer Service & SPS team to resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring seamless data transfer between systems. Test and validate EDI transactions, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notices. Provide first-level support for customers and internal users experiencing EDI-related issues. Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Escalate complex technical issues to SR Customer Service Manager and/or SPS when necessary. Analyze EDI data for discrepancies and recommend corrective actions for Brick & Mortar and eCommerce accounts. Conduct a comprehensive review of current e-commerce platforms and processes, documenting existing workflows, customer journeys, and identifying pain points.
