Senior Contract Service Manager

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Contract Service Manager position, reporting into the Head of Public Sector and working as an integral member within the Government Solutions Commercial team, requires an experienced specialist to help manage and drive success within the contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing tier 1 customer contracts. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities to drive profitability and ensure long-term customer satisfaction. A leader who can shape the growing business into what Iron Mountain needs to deliver, and undertake high-level contract negotiation, operational workflow best practices, and proven P&L responsibility.
Typical objectives for the role will include:
Take ownership of tier 1 customer contract
Conduct a thorough analysis of the existing contract, financials, and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
Negotiate changes to existing contract
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, and customer service and 3rd party supply chain partners to develop and implement effective delivery and growth plans.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the customer's executive team, to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations.
Identify opportunities to optimise costs, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the value proposition for the customer.
Implement performance metrics and KPIs to track progress, measure success, and report on the financial health and profitability of the account.
Provide strategic guidance to the account team to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Conduct regular business reviews with the customer to address concerns, communicate progress, and identify additional opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop pricing strategies, negotiate contract terms, and ensure profitability targets are met.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the account.
Provide mentorship and guidance to the account team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have multiple years of leadership experience including:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Extensive experience in account and contract management, with a focus on high-level contract negotiation and operational workflow optimization.
Proven track record of successfully managing contracts and driving profitability, with P&L responsibility.
Extensive experience in contract and change management, including scope definition, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse P&L statements, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive profitability.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions and drive change.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Experience working in Public Sector and highly regulated environments.
SC cleared highly desirable
