Philips Indirect Tax Senior Specialist in Lodz, Poland
As Indirect Tax Senior Specialist you will join Philips’ Accounting Operations team. Daily you will have a chance to support operations in terms of VAT compliance processes for EMEA region.
Your role:
Supporting daily operations in terms of VAT compliance processes for EMEA region
Preparation and extraction of VAT related analysis and reports
Preparation and extraction of draft and final VAT returns
Preparation of templates and calculations as input for VAT compliance process
Reconciliation of VAT accounts
VAT determination for purchase invoices (VAT coding) and supporting VAT coding automation process
Participation in Indirect Tax related projects
Any other ad-hoc activities related to VAT compliance processes

You're the right fit if you have:
2-3 years of experience in the field of VAT
Fluent English–both written and spoken
Work experience in SAP system
Bachelor’s degree ideally in Finance, Tax, Law or equivalent
Computer literacy and experience in MS office applications (very good command of MS Excel)
Logical and analytical thinking with an eye for detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
