Insight Global CSA Inspector in Los Angeles, California
Job Description
An employer sitting in Santa Clarita, CA is looking to hire an onsite (CSA) Civil Structural Architectural Inspector that will be supporting day to day activities. This team is modernizing a new compressor and substation that will help to increase the pressure of natural gas into their transmission lines. Currently the project is requiring 350,000 yards of soil and a lot of additional areas and sieve testing, compaction testing, moisture testing, concrete testing and pile installation. This person will be reporting to the Quality Management Team Lead that is supporting this major capital project. This person will also need to be knowledgeable about destructive testing and understanding proper concrete placement. He/She will be working with the Construction team, providing audits and reporting. This position will be paying between ($40-$60/hour).

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of experience in Structural Design and Welding, Architectural Design, Project Planning, Safety Standards, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Site Supervision, Quality Control etc.
- Soils Testing, Sieve Testing, Concrete Testing, Compaction Testing, Moisture Testing etc.
- Familiarity with pile installation and testing such as ACIP's
- Concrete testing such as slump and destructive testing both cylinder and cube
- Proper concrete placement for foundations and grout placement both cementitious and epoxy
Experience with bolt up steel inspections, various plan drawings, and audit support + Experience with LA county for welding
