Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Project Controls Manager - Airports, ANS in Los Angeles, California
THE WORK:
You'll review project work activities to ensure support of project milestones. Develops micro-phasing schedules as required to coordinate particularly challenging work phases; and helps coordinate the various parties to completion.
You'll participate in discussions with designers, contractors and other third party entities to proactively identify project risks; and develop recommendations as to how to mitigate the risks.
You'll participate in reviewing the contractor pay application; and ensures it is consistent with the schedule update and other progress documents.
You'll coordinate cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards accuracy and consistency.
You'll coordinate development of schedule resource loading and leveling; and the schedule development, maintenance and monitoring activities.
You'll provide progress reporting documents and briefing materials as required. Develop creative reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments. Responsible for promptly reporting budget and/or schedule variances.
You'll possess understanding and appreciation for time frames necessary including BHS, Special Systems, Power, HVAC and other aviation related disciplines.
$156,001 - $170,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or other related field
Minimum fifteen (15) years or more of project controls experience preferably in a public-sector airport
Minimum five (5) years managing the design and construction of large-scale, complex projects; including developing and managing a progress reporting methodology for a complicated design effort
Demonstrated ability to understand a demanding, technical and complicated construction program; and the ability to communicate progress and issues to a technical- and management-level audience
Minimum of three (3) project controls projects on a large-scale, multi-million dollar construction project required
Experience at a minimum of one (1) large-scale aviation-related project
Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous positions. Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Master's degree in engineering, project management, business or other related field
Self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities
Experience with Design-Build and Construction Management at Risk delivery methods
Experience with Primavera Project Planner Version 6.0 or higher
Proficient with industry software such as Expedition, etc.
Experience with large-scale construction management type software such as Prolog
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft suite
