UCLA Health Nurse Practitioner - APP Supervisor Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in Los Angeles, California
Description
Lead a dynamic team on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit at UCLA Mattel's Children's hospital. As an APP supervisor on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives. The APP Supervisor will be responsible for developing a new team of APP providers that will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
Salary range: $140,200 -331,800 annually
Qualifications
CA RN and CA NP License- required
MSN/ DNP in Peds Acute Care NP Specialty -required
National Certification in Peds Acute Care NP NP Specialty-required
BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association- required
PALS certification from American Heart Association-required
NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, Additional: NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required
5 years clinical experience as an inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology APP - required
2 years leadership experience preferred
