Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your role will encompass a variety of tasks including processing invoices, managing customer accounts, and providing support across different accounting functions.

Responsibilities
• Accurately process customer invoices on a daily basis
• Manage daily ACH input and check deposits
• Regularly communicate with customers to address overdue accounts
• Organize and file a substantial amount of paper invoices
• Provide customer service assistance as required, which may include answering phone calls
• Support additional accounting functions as necessary
• Operate and input data into a company-specific software program
• Utilize skills in account recons, accounts receivable, cash applications, cash collections, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks effectively and efficiently
Requirements
Requirements
• 2–3-year experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role
• Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and techniques
• Solid understanding and practical experience with account receivable
• Demonstrated experience in cash applications
• Proven ability in cash collection
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and colleagues
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines
Preferred:
Experience in accounts payable
Experience using pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
