Actalent Hmi Engineer in Louisville, Kentucky
Job Description
We are looking for an HMI Engineer to join our team and take part in the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor HMI/SCADA systems. This role will involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to ongoing support. You will collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management, controls engineering teams, electrical engineering teams, and different customer groups to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using Indusoft and Wonderware.
Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, computer and networking equipment.
Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software.
Participate in site commissioning activities.
Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
Essential Skills
MUST have Experience with AVEVA Edge (formerly InduSoft Web Studio)
HMI/SCADA software experience (Factory Talk, FT Optix, Wonderware, Indusoft).
Proficiency in HMI programming.
Knowledge in SCADA, IoT, PLC programming, Python, and VBScript.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within the material handling industry is preferred

This role is a 9 month contract offering competitive hourly pay, overtime compensation, Government regulated per diem, and lodging/airfare covered.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
