Job Description:

The Assessment Methodologist is well-versed in Social Sciences, statistical research methods, data analytics, and behavior change models to provide support to an internet-based program in Tampa, FL. The Methodologist will provide expertise to support the development and refinement of enterprise and tenant organization assessment frameworks that enable assessment through qualitative and quantitative analyses for internet-based activities; and will analyze the efficacy of online activities in social media and across other key forums, blogs, chatrooms, etc. The work environment is fast-paced, fluid and highly collaborative, but requires candidates with skillsets to complete projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop assessment approaches and frameworks rooted in social & behavioral research methodology

  • Refine assessment approaches and frameworks in response to evolving requirements and information environments

  • Interact with team members to support approved assessment framework implementation and validation activities

  • Recommend framework adjustments, improvements, and data strategies to improve the efficacy of assessment support

  • Produce reports for internal and external audiences, consolidating, refining, and presenting data in consumable ways for various customers

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required; select candidates will be submitted for upgrade to TS

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in a Social Science discipline, with specific focus on research methodologies and statistical analysis

  • Intermediate data analysis and extraction skills

  • 5+ years of related professional experience, including experience converting strategic priorities into actionable plans

  • Intermediate knowledge of database structure and queries

  • Ability to work with unstructured data

  • Ability to process, clean and verify the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Demonstrated experience with Measures of Performance, Measures of Effectiveness indicators, and Measures of Effectiveness

  • Superior communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in SQL

  • Intermediate Data Analytics skills (Python, Java, R) to include the ability to code in at least one of those programs

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI

The likely salary range for this position is $96,034 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
