Progressive Machine Die Press Operator in Macedonia, Ohio
Company: Progressive Machine Die Location: Macedonia, OH Position: Press Operator Job Description: -Preforms press operations in accordance with Operation Standards -Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor -May perform minor machine adjustments for quality of product -Operates both single hit and progressive stamping presses -Press ranges from 45-275 tons -Verify part quality during the production run -Records production data -Performs general clean-up and organization of work center -On the job training available -Other duties as assigned to support production levels Qualifications: -High School Diploma or GED -Follows all safety requirements of the company-PPE, (glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc. -Regularly required to lift up to 30lbs -Able to read and understand job instructions and product labels -Able to manage multiple tasks and meet production requirements Work Environment: -Plant environment -Must be able to stand for extended periods of time -Regularly exposed to noise, etc PMD offers competitive wages and excellent benefits (medical, dental, and vision), 401k with employer match.
