Job Title: Crane Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other crane operations. The role involves working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Check, sort, and count incoming material.
Assist in preparing warehouse operations for upcoming growth.
Add appropriate labeling to shelves, parts, and bins.
Move material from the receiving area throughout the facility.
Assist warehouse team with the movement of raw materials to correct storage/staging locations.
Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, and monthly as needed.
Count, weigh, and record the number of units of material.
Load/unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
Unload trucks as necessary.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead.
Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean environment where all necessary tools are provided. Safety is a top priority. While it can get hot in the summer, the doors are kept open to ensure ventilation. The role involves working on the 3rd shift from 3 pm to 2 am, with a 15% shift differential. Expect to work 10-15 hours of overtime as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
