Nesco Resource 2nd Shift Finished Carpenter in Madison Heights, Michigan

Nesco Resource is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Finished Carpenter to join a cutting-edge Design and Fabrication Company in Madison Heights. If you're passionate about working with your hands and contributing to the creation of custom signage and de´cor, this is the job for you.
Time: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM Pay Rate: $17-$18/hr (Based on Experience)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform fine carpentry and woodworking to create custom pieces such as cabinetry, furniture, and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications to ensure accuracy in measurements and construction.
- Use power and hand tools such as drills, nailers, staplers, and tape guns. (Required)
- Assemble and install custom woodwork in various settings, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.
- Work with other team members to ensure smooth workflow, meeting deadlines and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Manage inventory to ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Adapt to client requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a finished carpenter or in a similar carpentry role.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools drills, nailers, staplers, and tape guns. (Required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials, techniques, and finishes.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and precision.
- Safety-conscious, with a commitment to following safety protocols.
