Join us as our new Maintenance Mechanic Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor , the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all repairs and preventative maintenance activities on cGMP process equipment, utility systems and facilities. This position will work 2nd shift with hours of 2pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday. In this role you\'ll make an impact by: Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment typical of a probiotic manufacturing facility. Collaboratingwith co-workers to determine root cause of failures while making recommendations (and implementing corrective actions) to avoid or mitigate future events. Completingrequired documentation (paper and electronic) for preventative and corrective maintenance, equipment start-up, decommissioning etc., in accordance with a cGMP quality system. Maintaining operation of cGMP utility equipment, including HVAC, Dust Collection, Coolers, Air Compressors, Lighting, Electrical, Water/Plumbing systems. Responding to unscheduled equipment downtime events and document activities. Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished. Supporting the training of maintenance and operations employees. Providingset-up and start-up support for operators as needed.
