Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
Job Description
An exclusive manufacturer of rodent control products, this company produces the highest quality rodenticides and other rodent control products available to the pest control and agricultural industries on six continents.
Responsibilities
Perform standard maintenance on equipment used for plant scale chemical synthesis, including 2000 L glass-lined reactors, vacuum pumps, drying ovens, glass condensers, valves, heat exchangers, and filter dryers.
Inspect glass integrity and imperfections, gaskets, seals, column pack media, caustic soda reservoir, proper flow of reactors, sprinkler system, piping, and plumbing.
Perform repairs and manage specialized contractors to perform needed repairs.
Work with the Engineering and Chemistry teams to execute preventive maintenance and service equipment used to support the manufacture of APIs.
Calibrate temperature probes and pressure gauges.
Coordinate monthly with operators to replace scrubber water.
Inspect and replace heat exchanger for hard water buildup.
Inspect the integrity of piping and change parts as needed.
Inspect and change gaskets as needed.
Conduct daily water testing and chemical addition.
Coordinate monthly third-party water treatment testing.
Survey process areas to locate leaks of Air/N2 and other gases.
Check resistance for all grounding locations.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
