About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Hostess to join the team of Food & Beverage Service in Jumeirah Olhahali Island.

The key duties of a Restaurant Hostess will include:

• Greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Jumeirah' policies.

• Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames.

• Respect the sequence of service during service periods and provides constant hands-on support.

• Greet and treat all colleagues in a friendly manner.

• Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.

• Executes and facilitates service in cooperation with other Hostess Bartenders, servers, and managers.

• Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize guests by name and utilize the guest's name consistently.

• Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional,and gracious service at all times.

• To maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests.

Experience

• 2 years restaurant experience in a 5 stars hotel.

Desirable

• Experience working in a remote island environment.

• International exposure.

Skills

• Ability to truly connect with guests & staff

• Knowledge of Micros Point of Sale system.

• High level of written and verbal business English.

• food and beverage knowledge.

• Good communications skills.

Desirable

• Creative / flexible / open minded approach.

• Attention to detail oriented.
