RELX INC Sales Development Trainer in Manila, Philippines

The Sales Development Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring our teams across the globe receive the training and support they need to become proficient in selling at RX, helping them to succeed in their roles whether they are a new hire going through onboarding or a tenured salesperson looking to refresh their sales skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the RX Sales Onboarding training programme globally

  • Delivery of the Selling the RX Way training programme globally

  • Creating or adjusting training content in partnership with the wider Sales Enablement team to keep our sales training relevant and valuable to our sales teams

  • Maintaining onboarding content on our centrally-managed RX Sales training pages

  • Providing basic sales coaching support for new hires around sales challenges

  • Reviewing Onboarding progress, goals and feedback to identify areas where additional training or support for new hires may be required

  • Reviewing wider training feedback to identify and anticipate additional training globally

  • Being an additional global point-of-contact for anyone with a sales new hire or training-related enquiry about Sales Onboarding and Selling the RX Way

  • Creating and organizing new-hire training for specific roles within RX in partnership with the wider Sales Enablement team

  • Producing a monthly view of training and feedback/insights

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Has a least 3 years’ experience in B2B sales as a Sales Trainer

  • Has demonstrable experience in early careers sales coaching

  • Has sales experience in a B2B / solution-selling environment

  • Has experience of delivering fun and engaging training workshops to a global audience with varying sales experience levels and English language proficiency

  • Has experience of working with global teams that operate across time-zones

  • Is able to effectively identify and analyse problems and propose solutions

  • Is able to both actively listen to and effectively question to understand another’s viewpoint

  • Is able to challenge others where necessary and uphold training standards

  • Knowledge and experience of Value-Based Selling would be an advantage
