As a Network Technician, you will be closely working with our internal customers, vendors and other regional colleagues. You will be an ideal candidate if you are autonomous, detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills as well as being competent in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware, software and fiber connectivity. The desire and ability to work in an ambiguous, collaborative environment is essential for success.
This role will provide you with high levels of autonomy to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and to assist in the delivery of network scaling projects.
Key job responsibilities
Leading and managing of multiple network scaling projects and priorities
Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
Collaboration with Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager team to ensure fast and smooth deployment of network scaling projects
Manage vendors and suppliers conversations and for prompt delivery to ensure a project is never delayed due to materials
Troubleshooting physical cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords using testing equipment
Specifying Space Power, Cooling requirements for new network racks
Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
Comply with change management policies and guidelines for project activities
Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives
Adhere to safety and security standards for all tasks
A day in the life
A normal day involves working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and coordinating with Network Engineers and Technical Program Managers. You will be responsible for running multiple networking projects at the same time.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of computer networking experience
Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a colocation data center facility
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
Knowledge of IT best practice framework, project management methodologies and ticketing systems
