Description
Robert Half is seeking a talented and passionate .NET Developer to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software applications using the .NET framework and related technologies. You'll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to bring innovative and user-friendly solutions to life.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement clean, maintainable, and scalable code using .NET languages (C#, VB.NET).
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Write unit tests and integrate with automated testing frameworks.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects efficiently.
Contribute to code reviews and maintain coding standards.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the .NET ecosystem and related technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, Azure, cloud deployments).
May also involve working with APIs, web services, and databases.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience developing .NET applications (C# or VB.NET).
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit).
Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
