The position should be performed from a Sylvamo facility (mill or office).
The role of Talent Management and Organizational Development Consultant (TM & OD) will contribute to and lead strategic global initiatives that build Sylvamo’s capacity to change and achieve greater organizational effectiveness. This role will focus on developing and reinforcing high performance strategies and processes, leading impactful projects and contribute to providing strategic direction in TM and OD focus areas with the goal of building capabilities required to achieve our organizational goals and become the employer, supplier, and investment of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Engages in and leads key TM & OD processes and programs to provide business solutions using multiple sources of information; manages and oversees projects and project teams, leveraging project management methodology and change management strategies to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Gathers and organizes pertinent data to analyze the need, develop data driven solutions, and determine what steps should be taken.
Consults and collaborates effectively withkey stakeholders and leadership(both from HR and the Business)to ensure solutions align with business objectives and address the strategic needs of the organization.
Continuously monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of organizational initiatives and adjusts and/or enhancements, as needed, ultimately ensuring new and ongoing solutions are sustainable throughout the global organization.
Leverages in-depth understanding of concepts and principles in TM & OD to address organizational needs.
Other related responsibilities include:
Support and promote business initiatives through coordination of employee focus groups, roundtable discussion, listening strategies, engagement surveys, etc.
Advise and consult with HRBPs on communication and implementation strategies.
Work with the team and communications to produce program materials and internal communication for events.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and ensure all efforts are aligned with Sylvamo values.
Develop and maintain productive relationships across all organizational levels.
Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Build productive relationships with external vendors to ensure service agreements are met.
Balance multiple projects and priorities without compromising event success or meeting goals.
Work within constraints: budgetary, time, location, weather, participant or facilitator changes, etc.
Leverage technology (LMS, SP, etc.) to support effective learning coordination and communication.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree. A master’s or post-graduation in related areas is preferred but not required.
Fluent written and verbal skills in English (Portuguese, French, or Swedish as a plus)
5-10 years of experience in organizational development or business partnership role. Experience in a global organization is ideal. Experience in a manufacturing organization is preferred.
Experience in Talent Management and Organizational Development,change management and project management, proven by relevant projects.
Demonstrated ability to operate and communicate successfully at all organizational levels, across various cultures and backgrounds.
High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential data.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities (formally and informally, leading through influence).
Experience working in a fast-paced iterative environment with the ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain the focus on accurate, dependable and timely work.
Ability to work independently with limited guidance or supervision.
Strong ability to plan effectively, solve complex problems and make timely decisions.
Strong PC skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint experience.
Experience withSAP, HRIS, Dayforce (Ceridian) as a plus.
