The Microelectronics (E) Product Line performs cutting-edge microelectronics research in its Science & Technology area and delivers advanced microelectronic products in its four Development & Production areas that advance mission capabilities across commercial and defense applications. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our E Product line to support our Mixed Signal and Digital Integrated Circuit Product Area which focuses on creating, implementing and maintaining the operational processes used to deliver the next generation of microelectronic products to the enterprise.

Reporting directly to the Product Area Director, the Mixed Signal/ Digital IC Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of several programs, performing oversight of several programs ranging in different stages of maturity ranging from development to full production. The PM also will interact frequently with internal customers, and external vendors. Must be comfortable leading briefings of program status. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support the program development process by contributing to the creation and management of program budgets and schedules.

  • Identify and address program-related issues, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions.

  • Oversee and manage the tracking of resources, personnel, and processes to ensure the successful execution and completion of the program.

  • Monitor and report on key program performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, budget adherence, and overall performance, and prepare regular status reports.

  • Act as a point of contact with other program managers, operations personnel, and internal stakeholders regarding program-related matters and ensure the stakeholders are engaged in addressing any program deficiencies.

  • Ensure that the product is fully prepared for production, coordinating with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to verify that all requirements are met and addressing any identified deficiencies.

  • Engage with vendors to assess their capabilities and evaluate their alignment with the program requirements, including deliverables, cost structures, and timelines.

  • Manage and support proposals, as required.Perform other duties as necessary.

This position reports directly to the Mixed Signal and Digital Product Area Director and is based out of our Merrimack, NH facility. This position will require virtual and in-person collaboration with customers and staff across BAE Systems ES Facilities.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format , with time split between working onsite and remotely, or an on-site format.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field with at least 6 years of experience (4 years with a Master's degree)

  • Effectively manage projects of medium complexity and provide guidance.

  • Influencing skills required to achieve optimum solutions with the wider team and other functions/disciplines.

  • Lead and motivate the local team.

  • Lead monthly Program Reviews as required

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and operate independently.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer-focused with relationship-building abilities

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Possess or ability to obtain Secret clearance

  • PMP Certification and experience with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in program management or manufacturing/engineering environments.

  • Experience with microelectronic devices, fabrication or product lines.

  • EVMS experience

  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
