Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.
Responsibilities
Complete work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs.
Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol.
Assist in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs.
Implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs.
Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.
Communicate effectively to appropriate individuals regarding building status and changes.
Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital clients, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.
Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property in a safe and productive manner.
Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
Work on chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, and exhaust systems.
Handle electrical wiring and installation tasks, such as outlets, furniture, and fans.
Conduct painting, carpentry, and flooring tasks.
Perform plumbing work for sinks, restrooms, and kitchens.
Handle minor appliance repairs.
Work on furniture assembly and Trane Tracer controls.
Essential Skills
Experience with HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, and exhaust systems.
Proficiency in electrical wiring and installation (outlets, furniture, fans).
Skills in painting, carpentry, and flooring.
Plumbing experience for sinks, restrooms, and kitchens.
Ability to perform minor appliance repairs.
Familiarity with furniture assembly and Trane Tracer controls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with building automation systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and work on various types of mechanical systems.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. Must be able to participate in on-call rotation. Tools are provided. Use your own transportation to and from sites, with mileage reimbursement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
