Opening for Staff level Accounting professional- Miami Beach /33140 near Downtown area

Company & Role Overview: Reputable second generation company providing travel services in the logistics niche industry with long term employees & offers stability, benefits and a great team!

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Degree in Accounting or Finance or is Degreed; and Lives near Miami Beach 33140 (or 30 min max) preferred. This position is open to due to employees retirement.

Schedule: In office; M-F; select from 8:00-4:30, 8:30-5:00 or 9-5:30

Location: Miami Beach/33140 (free parking)

Salary: $60,000/streatch $65,000

Keys to this role:

• Jr. Accountant to Staff level

• pursuing Degree in Accounting or Finance; or Degreed

• Foundation of A/P, invoicing, entries; will grow into/train on or if Staff level perform - reconciliations, GL and other accounting tasks

• Excel, if any QuickBooks or ERP (will train)

• Living near Miami Beach 33140 (or 30 min max) preferred.

Job Overview:

• Performs different tasks within invoices, bill payment and reconciling:

• will start with Accounts Payable, then Accounts Receivable

• A/P downloading vendor invoices from software; weekly basis and some monthly; data input

• Payroll or other Entries; credit card and or other reconciliations

• Jr Accountant will grow into/be trained on duties including various reconciliations and General Ledger; and other accounting transactions

• Staff Accountant level will also acclimate and duties will include bank reconciliations, reviewing financial statements and collecting information for month end close

• Open to Cross training as team covers for vacations etc.

• Open to clerical duties, keeping back up documentation, filing, data input and special projects as needed

• English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Software: MS Office Excel, proficiency (QB is a plus not required, they use a similar internal software and can train)
