Business Consultant
Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will love within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Business Consultant is responsible for data mining, finding anomalies and validating our findings for external clients, translating moderately complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.
How you will make an impact:
Serve as a liaison between the client, data technology, query development and other business partners.
Consult with client partners concerning processes, procedures, contracts, processing rules and other system rules to identify overpayments.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
Consult with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.
May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects.
Interact with query developers, clients, and project teams.
Utilize relationship building skills to build a network and build trust with clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years business analysis experience, which should include analysis and project management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Advanced skill level with MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, V-lookup, etc. preferred.
Experience managing multiple projects in various stages to completion strongly preferred.
Coding certified CPC strongly preferred.
Claim processing experience preferred.
Experience facilitating meetings to include meeting preparation, documentation and delivery preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $92,064 to $144,672
