Responsibilities
Receive redlines from the engineers and input them into AutoCAD.
Understand and manage X-Refs and Layer Management.
Perform operations within CAD software for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection for regional projects in K-12 Schools, Colleges, Universities, Healthcare, Hospital, Commercial, Institutional, and Retail Businesses.
Prepare AutoCAD and REVIT drawings from markups, sketches, and verbal direction.
Accurately draft markups into AutoCAD and REVIT.
Show progressive CAD experience or additional hands-on experience in a related field.
Essential Skills
0-8 years of design experience with MEP Projects.
MEP and HVAC experience.
Excellent communication and team-building skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
Proficiency with AutoCAD, including model/paper space, layer management, line weights, importing files, block creation (including dynamic blocks), exporting PDFs, and batch plotting.
Proficiency with Revit, including electrical systems, family creation and modification, and schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CAD or REVIT Certificate (nice to have).
Knowledge of MEP/HVAC/FP systems.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Entry-level Mechanical Engineer (recent graduates are welcome)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
