Job Title: 2nd Shift Press Operator

Pay Rate: $20 - $30 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Press Operator to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This temp-to-hire position offers competitive pay and an excellent opportunity for career growth. The ideal candidate will have experience operating flexographic printing presses and ensuring production meets quality and productivity standards per customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Review job tickets to set up and operate flexographic printing presses .
Install and change print cylinders, anilox rolls, deck parts, and ink pumps.
Set print cylinders into register and verify proper tension settings.
Ensure print quality, including correct repeat lengths, curl minimization, adhesive weights, roll appearance, and color accuracy.
Utilize AVT systems and QC tools to monitor print quality.
Maintain viscosity control and complete viscosity control logs.
Train Press Assistants as needed.
Follow safety and quality guidelines, including AIB compliance.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years' experience working on flexographic print presses.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read both standard and metric measuring tapes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify color defects or shading inconsistencies.
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs , with hoist assistance available.
Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend as required.
Strong communication skills for documenting production reports, material usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
