How you will help us create value together: As a Manufacturing Engineer - Machining Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the Manufacturing Engineering/Programming team. The Manufacturing Engineering team works with a variety of departments and develops the Manufacturing operations to setup and machine a variety of gears and parts. Activities will include working with Manufacturing Engineers on cost savings and process improvement projects, building of tools and tool lists associated with programs for Tool Data Management, and developing setups, work instructions, and process sheets with the Programmer. This onsite position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee\'s Harbor District. The target start date for this role is Summer 2025 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2025 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year. Key Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities may include: Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Operators on cost savings and process improvement projects for CNC Lathes, Boring Bars and Mills. Develop Part Setup Work Instructions Collect, inventory, and update machining tools and accessories for Tool Books for Boring Bars Prepare setup sheets for CNC Horizontal Lathes (i.e., F3144, F3060) Continuous Improvement project for parts flow through Machinery Factory Support...
