We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a clinic serving diverse patient populations. This community clinic caters to patients ranging from infants and pediatrics to geriatric demographics, including a significant number of Spanish, Hmong, and Somali speakers.
Responsibilities
Perform blood draws and venipunctures
Interact with patients and ensure their comfort during procedures
Utilize EPIC Beaker for specimen collection
Maintain accurate records of blood draws and related patient interactions
Essential Skills
Phlebotomy
Blood draw
Venipuncture
Patient interaction
Experience with EPIC Beaker
Phlebotomy certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Phlebotomy certificate preferred
6+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred
Experience with EPIC strongly preferred
Work Environment
The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Occasionally, there may be a need to work on Saturdays from 8 AM - 12 PM. This position offers an indefinite contract with exposure to a school-based clinic and the potential for future conversion to a county employee role with comprehensive benefits and 11 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
