Aerotek Cleanroom Electronic Assembler in MORRISVILLE, North Carolina
Job Title: Cleanroom Production Assembler
Job Description
Repetitive assembly of electronic/mechanical components that meet specifications, using the proper tool. Working within cleanroom and climate controlled area to build electronic medical devices.
Responsibilities
Use of hand or simple power tools such as needle nose pliers, side cutters and soldering iron
Perform routine sub-assembly and/or final assembly on printed circuit boards per defined procedures.
PC based test systems using Window’s applications
Solder through-hole and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components in specified locations with a high degree of accuracy
Communicates with Line Leader to plan and / or review work activities and to resolve production problems.
Responsible for keeping work area clean
- Other duties as needed
Essential Skills
Ability to read Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and other written instructions
Good manual dexterity.
0-3 years of manufacturing experience.
Basic PC skills, including the ability to use Windows applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with assembly, soldering, and hands on dexterity.

Work Environment
The work environment is within an electronics manufacturing setting. The position follows a standard schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and some over time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MORRISVILLE, North Carolina.
