Overhead Door Corporation Maintenance Manager in Mount Hope, Ohio
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall plant maintenance and coordination of activities with other departments in a manner which results in the production of quality product at a cost and schedule consistent with company policies, customer service and plant objectivesA Bachelor's Degree and/or related maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related maintenance experience is required. Equivalent of an Engineering Degree or Journeyman Certification a plusA Bachelor's Degree and/or related maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related maintenance experience is required. Equivalent of an Engineering Degree or Journeyman Certification a plus Sets annual budgets for maintenance costs and controls maintenance budget to ensure efficient use of funds. Ensure that Safety related work orders are prioritized and ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and within the guidelines of Federal and State OSHA compliance. Analyze mechanical, electrical, program and operational function, efficiency and uptime on assigned equipment and plan for and take corrective action to maintain maximum production and quality. This includes getting to root cause and develop programs and solutions to eliminate future occurrences. Develop, implement, and maintain the Preventative Maintenance and TPM Programs. Coordinate and communicate with production and other departments for preventative maintenance; scheduled and unscheduled downtime; installation and removal of equipment; and when outside services are needed for repairs. Immediately respond to maintenance issues when production has stopped due to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic problems. Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance equipment and parts. Order new parts as necessary. Must be able to read, comprehend, and communicate technical writings, drawings, and instructions. Provide leadership, guidance and direction for plant maintenance operations. Plan and order tools and supplies to meet future needs. Manages maintenance personnel as it relates to personnel scheduling; meetings both shift, weekly, and monthly meetings; any disciplinary actions. Coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
