Google Data and Audience Strategy Lead, Partnerships in Mountain View, California

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in business development, consulting, strategy, partnerships or sales.

  • Experience with first and third-party data solutions for content publishers.

  • Experience with online advertising (e.g., ad serving, programmatic) and key industry trends (e.g., data, privacy).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with third-party ad serving tools, yield optimization platforms, and/or digital advertising workflow management and analytics tools.

  • Experience in data and privacy space.

  • Knowledge of Google Ad Manager suite of products, mobile apps ecosystem, and Google’s ad products.

  • Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against business goals.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

In this role, you will be responsible for consulting with partners on first-party data strategy, advising them on data strategy and consulting on Google tools.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$152,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Identify leads, conduct proactive consultations and help Sales teams.

  • Lead data and audience strategy workshops for partners to improve data maturity in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive summits.

  • Enable proactive pitches for Ad Manager first-party solution for publishers dependent on third-party cookies.

  • Lead content strategy for data-related events such as publisher data summits and other events.

  • Be an industry expert in external events focused on data and audience.
