ManpowerGroup Hardware Design Engineer 3 in Mountain View, California
Our largest enterprise client is looking for Validation Engineer in Mountain View, CA, who will be responsible for Post Silicon Validation, debug, tools development as well as Systems Level Testing. It involves driving system team enablement and product deployment in data center. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who will thrive in this cutting-edge technical environment.
Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer 3
Location: Mountain View, CA
Job Responsibilities:
Work on key components of functional validation of complex ASIC SOC and FPGA SOC
Perform Post-Silicon/FPGA validation by defining testing strategies
Develop Test plan, C tests and infrastructure to complete functional validation of complex design and report bug/issues
Running tests, debugging failures, creating stress and performance scenarios to meet test plan goals
Develop tools for hardware testing, data collection, work with third party equipment and boards.
Innovate to improve validation efficiency through methodologies and tools
What’s Needed?
• Years of Experience Required: 4+ overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in engineering required. 4+ years’ experience required.
• Hands on experience with C/C++, Python, Perl, Powershell
• Familiarity with boards, components, memories, industry standard interfaces like I2C, JTAG, UART.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Team player and detail oriented.
• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programmi
