Our client, a growing. global company is adding to it's legal team. They are seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal in Nashville. This role will report directly to the General Counsel and support a small legal team.

Job Description

A Corporate Paralegal is needed to support attorneys and legal counsel by gathering, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials. This role involves managing case files, performing legal research, reviewing and drafting agreements, facilitating business transactions, and ensuring overall compliance with legal requirements. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review confidentiality agreements under attorney supervision.

  • Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings and trials.

  • Conduct investigations and fact-finding for cases.

  • Identify relevant legal articles, laws, and judicial decisions.

  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including arguments, motions, contracts, and agreements.

  • Review and maintain company agreements.

  • Assist in managing corporate insurance policies and records.

  • Provide administrative support for attorneys.

  • Participate in developing corporate policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Assist attorneys with transaction closings and corporate record maintenance.

  • Conduct legal research and drafting.

  • Complete special projects and other assignments as needed.

    Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Strong ability to interact with all levels of corporate personnel and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with outside attorneys, senior management, and business associates.

  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience managing legal department projects and initiatives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Law firm experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies.
