The Warehouseman assists in the shipping and receiving throughout the operation. The individual is responsible to check the counts and overall quality and accuracy of products being shipped and received. Warehouseman must understand how to operate RF scanners and the WMS system. This position is not limited to solely shipping and receiving but also includes proper housekeeping and sanitation practices of the freezer, work area, and equipment. As needed, they will assist in other areas of the operation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ? Follow all Company, OSHA, and Food Safety rules and procedures ? Responsible to receive, inspect and record shipments of Raw Material or Finished Products into the WMS using RF Scanner ? Responsible to load and unload trailers/containers and check contents to make sure they match BOL?s ? Responsible to load and unload all NW trailers including raw material/vats, finished goods and reload when necessary ? Ensure all products are labeled/tagged accordingly and product is properly shrink wrapped to the pallet ? Responsible to load and unload all Outbound and Inbound Orders when carriers/NW Trucks arrive using the RF Scanner ? Make corrections in as needed and submit all paperwork for each receipt to inventory control ? Notify QC supervisor of any quality issues related to product received into warehouse and document accordingly ? Covers for duties of other Shipper/Receiver and Order Selector in their absence ? Perform and document daily pre-shift inspection of powered industrial equipment ? Report inventory discrepancies to senior management ? Investigates inventory discrepancies ? Reports all OSHA incidents immediately to Safety and Senior Management ? Maintain professional conduct and assist other co-workers ? Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: ? Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls ? Proficient computer skills ? Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal ? Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills ? Strong people skills ? Maintains a professional, ethical, and team-oriented attitude ? Knowledge and understanding of GMPs, HACCP, Allergen Awareness and Quality/Hold procedures Education and Experience: ? High school diploma ? Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles ? One year of forklift experience required
