Job Title: 3rd Shift - Machine Operator
Job Description
Our client manufactures plastic bottles for various products including home care, professional cleaning, food and beverage, nutrition and wellness, ice melt, and pet care. With over 52 years in the industry, they have recently been awarded as one of the best places to work in 2023.
Responsibilities
Operate blow-molding and injection molding machines.
Troubleshoot and adjust machines.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as preventative maintenance, greasing, cleaning, small repairs, and diagnosing issues.
Use hand and power tools as needed.
Essential Skills
Ability to troubleshoot machines.
Experience in machine operation and preventive maintenance.
Skill in setting up machines.
At least 1 year of experience operating a machine and using micrometers and calipers.
Knowledge of reading blueprints.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Experience with plastic, blow molding, and injection molding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of experience setting up and troubleshooting blow mold and plastic injection mold machines.

Work Environment
This is a 3rd shift position working from 7 pm to 7 am on a rotating schedule of 4 nights on, 4 nights off. The work environment is in a brand new, state-of-the-art, highly automated facility built in 2020, which is climate controlled. The facility has roughly 30 employees, including office staff, with about 20 employees on the shop floor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $53000.00/yr.

Machine Techs have 4 levels: Level 4 is a Lead and pays up to $37/hr
Not a lot of OT
4 days on, 4 days off - you'll always know your schedule and it's set on the same shift
Smaller facility - roughly 20 shop floor employees
$1 for night shift
2-4% annual raises, based on performance and the company
