Summary

As a Valve Technician at Custom Valve Repair, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of valves used in critical industrial applications. This role is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional service and support to our clients in Pennsylvania and surrounding states.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

· Application Engineering

· Determine the best valve or system of valves that fit a customer's application needs based on sizing parameters, special requirements and material compatibility

· Complete walk-downs for future jobs to help sales estimate time and materials as well as to make considerations for the technicians so that they can work as efficiently as possible when onsite

· Act as onsite crew leader and point person to customers during large scale jobs such as outages

· Assist customer engineering staff through doing plant P&ID reviews

· Sales Engineering:

· Complete job estimations

· Combine knowledge from other areas to form the best solution for your assigned customers

· Repair and testing of valves is an extremely specialized industry; candidates would be expected to work as a valve technician to acquire valve knowledge

Requirements:

· Valid Drivers' License

· Pre-employment DOT Physical and Drug Screening

· Problem Solving

· Problem Knowledge

· Software Skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Field and/or Industrial)

· High computer application literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or Quick Books)

· Self-Motivated

Compensation:

· Competitive compensation / benefits

· Salary and hourly rates based upon experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
